CSSBuy Spreadsheet QC Guide: Reading Photos Properly
How to read CSSBuy QC photos like a veteran — what to zoom on, what to compare against, and when to hit return.
QC is where CSSBuy earns its service fee — and where you either save yourself weeks of hassle or approve a lemon in three seconds. Slow down.
The Review Order
- Anchor against the spreadsheet reference photos, not memory. Batch drift is real.
- Zoom on seams, logos, glue. These are the flaws agents cannot patch and sellers cannot spin.
- Read the size label out loud. Mislabeled sizes are the most common miss because they are boring to check.
- Check accessories. Laces, dust bags, spare buttons — everything the listing promised.
Return vs Exchange vs Approve
Return: item is defective or wrong. Exchange: seller has an alternate you would accept. Approve: only when every check passes.
Once you approve, the item is legally yours. Remediation drops from likely to nearly impossible.
How Long Returns Take
Typical return-and-replace turnaround is one to two weeks depending on the seller’s province in China. It is worth the wait — a hurried approval is a permanent one.
